A tidbit or two from Newfane/Wilson:
Great
holidays here in WNY! Good to have AJ up north! We hosted my family for a gala celebration on Wednesday, December
27. AJ provided gourmet food, of course! The weather has been something else - just great. Like Claudia has said,
global warming is bad, but if this is global warming, it's not hard to take!
Love, John
Live (when it was sent) from Indy:
JP and I are busy, yet wonderful. Our holidays
were non-stop. We traveled to Michigan to be with the family on Christmas, then we drove straight to Missouri to visit
JP's extended family. We then threw a New Year's party at our house.
I am homeschooling a girl for this
year due to lack of PE positions. I will be sending out my resumes soon in hopes of landing an elementary PE position
for next fall.
I know everyone is busy, however, you are all invited to our home anytime. Here is our
address: 6942 Breckenridge Drive, Indianapolis, IN. 46236
P.S. Everyone needs to see the movie Little
Miss Sunshine

We all enjoyed the holidays here in Lexington. We hosted the feast for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Janet cooked for a crowd as
her family all joined us. The food was grand, the company great and the weather good. I am not one of those Kentuckians wishing
for a white Christmas. Sophie enjoyed her first holiday season and had no problem tearing into the gifts a little early. Andrew
got his IPOD so all is well in his world. I hope all of the extended Johnson family had a peace and joy filled holiday. I
am thankful for all of you every day!
Love, Clo, Janet, Andrew, and Sophie. And Gripper, Greta, and the fishies (who
slept right through all the holiday festivities...)

Where did 2006 go? It was a good year but too fast. Christmas was great, went
up North on the 19th and the weather was great, no snow, John and I enjoyed hosting the Leising Family Christmas get together.
The weather cooperated so well I was able to travel thru Canada to Troy to see the Stewarts, It was great to spend time with
Jay, Heather and Nickolas and we drove to Chelsea on Sat. to meet up with the Kalamazoo Johnsons, minus Bob who was in Dallas.
It was good to see Laurie, Bug, Ashley and Sara. My how beautiful those girls are. Did I forget to mention
how cute Nickolas is, what a difference from when I saw him last. I am now back in Lexington and have finally caught up on
my email and mail and my ironing and Claudia's ironing after being away for 3 weeks. My youngest daughter is having a birthday
today.
Hope everyone has a wonderful 2007!
Love, Agnes, Mom, Grandma and Gammy
Email sent at work to the editor from his wife:
"(If I were to send something to the newsletter) I guess I would have to mention your mom puking in our
bathroom (and in between hurls) asking about the window treatments being new or not??? Maybe that is not what you are
looking for but it was funny! Love you Heather"
Greetings from balmy Warrington
OK...I admit that I was not buying the whole global warming thing hook, line and sinker.
I was skeptical, ala Michael Crighton in State of
Fear......but, with this crazy weather and seeing An Inconvenient Truth, I am warming (!) to the horrible idea. My bulbs
are all coming up and the trees are budding.
The holidays in Warrington were wonderful. I received the most awesome gift from Ken...........a
trip of a lifetime!! Ken and I leave for London on 6/7..stay for 2 days, then catch our cruise ship in Dover, England
and for the next 12 days will cruise the Baltic Sea after crossing the Kiel Canal. We stop in Warnemunde, Germany, Tallin
Estonia, 2 days in St. Petersburg Russia, Helsinki Finland, Stockholm Sweden, Copenhagen Denmark, then back to London for
2 more days. I have a lot of research and planning to do! I am trying to teach myself the Cyrillic alphabet
so I can read the signs in Russia - we prefer to get Visas and go off on our own versus the cruise ship excursions!
Carpe Diem!!!!
Ken is good - working and golfing. I am also really getting into golf and got new clubs
for my birthday. It's so warm here that we golfed on New Years Eve!
Kenny returned from Los Angeles/Hollywood in October, wiser, but no closer to that dream job.
But, he continues to search. He was on the production crew again for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. He continues
to fix up his condo. Megan is great as well!
Erin is getting ready to start a new semester of school and has taken up photography (digital
and conventional). She and Bill recently celebrated their 6 month anniversary.
Love to everyone around the country from all of us here in Pennsylvania!
Bittersweet = Eagles losing to the Saints, but if they had to lose, we are glad it was New
Orleans!!!!
Holdin' it down in MI (our food that is!)
Happy New Year to everyone! Yes, hard to believe another year has flown by. We had a nice
holiday - Christmas was great with Nickolas. He loved all the presents but eventually got overwhelmed and stopped
opening gifts.
Had a great visit with Gammy as she stopped in Michigan on her way home from NY.
It was fun traveling to Chelsea with Gammy, Jay, Heather and Nickolas to see the Johnson's. Sorry Bob was out of town
but is was fun catching up at the Chelsea Grill with the Johnson Girls plus Bug. Let's not wait so long
in 2007 to get together.
We had a nice birthday celebration for Big at Jay, Heather and Nick's. Great food at Red
Lobster and dessert at J,H,N's house. Big loved the Raider's hat.
Big and I are excited about our upcoming
cruise later in February. We need to see sunshine and hang out on the beaches of the Cayman's and Cozumel.
Love
you all. Cynth & Big
Here's an entry from the Stachniak Clan
The holidays were good here as well! (with the exception of the bruising loss of Notre Dame and
Wake Forest in their bowl games!) We were thrilled to have all our kids back home to celebrate:) The newlyweds
drove all day on "Christmas adam" and stayed for a few days and Kayla and Zander flew in staying for 9 days and 4 weeks
respectively. We had a great time eating wonderful food, drinking wonderful wine, playing games galore, watching
movies, and talking of course!
Amber continues to study for her classes, work in the library, volunteer, write her dissertation
and do her clinical 3x a week! Don't know how she does it all. Drew is busy working long hours and is also toying with
the idea of heading back to school. Kayla is surviving the dreaded first year of law school and living in the "Big
Apple." She seems to have mastered getting around the city. Aside from her busy class schedule she is interning every
Friday in the area of childrens rights and will be heading back to New Orleans to do a Human Rights summer internship. Kayla
and Ross are still a couple and have been dating for over a year :) Zander is enjoying Notre Dame and changing majors:)
He has also developed a love of photography! Must be in the genes:) He has joined some fun and interesting organizations
and still works part time for Paula Ventura :) He continues to work whenever he comes home for vacation at "Scarlett
Surveys." He and Alison are back together as well:)
We are in the market for a new car after my Honda Civic was totaled over the Christmas break! YIKES!
At least no one was hurt :)
Love to all :) We miss you greatly! Happy 2007
ps- I loved "Little Miss
Sunshine" as well :)
